I read the funniest article this morning in USA Today.
It said that President Bush is going to deliver a speech on Thursday to update the nation on Iraq.
Instead of delivering the speech during prime time, when most of America could watch it, he will deliver it during the day. This doesn't really bother me because he gives a lot of his speeches during the day, as all Presidents have.
What I thought was hilarious was that after the speech, he "is scheduled to head to Texas for a few days of rest at his Crawford ranch."
It must be tiring to do all that readin' and talkin' and using them big words.
I hope our next president is a more effective speaker and less entertaining to watch. Don't get me wrong, I love a good laugh, but it shouldn't be at the expense of our President.

I think he is taking a few days off so that he can give his stupid speech, piss off the american public with what he has to say, then go to the ranch because he doesn't want to hear people complain and ask questions. He thinks if he gives it a few days we'll all just let it go by the time he gets back.
